The 1st Montréal Planning Meeting was a HUGE success! 100+ people attended. Getting a lot of progress.  We still need help with outreach, advertising, stage crew/tech, ‘other’ actions & budget/fundraising.

What has been planned for a rally in Montreal? I am a member of the Raging Grannies of Montreal and we want to take part.

We heard that there will be a rally on Jan 23, but have no details. Please send those to me.
    Thanks

Just a heads-up that Émilie-Gamelin is misspelled in the English version, and Phillips is misspelled with 1 L instead of 2 in both versions. Would be a good idea to fix that, so people are able to easily search for the locations in google maps etc. Thanks!

  8. 8 Leanne Bourassa said at 6:41 pm on January 17th, 2010:

  9. 9 Rachel said at 4:46 pm on January 18th, 2010:

A way to reach more people with your fliers (12 per page).
Print out detachable strips and fix to the bottom of your flier. Mine say …

Hey – someone please fix the Facebook info – it says the rally in Mtl starts at 1pm.

Creative people: please make some posters in French that are less ‘Non’ focused – that word is just a little loaded in this province!

    eg:
Oui – au Travail, députés Canadiens!!

    ….or something similar….

  14. 14 Dawn said at 5:05 pm on January 22nd, 2010:

i worked with a deviantArt member to get their poster translated to French; i’m posting it on the facebook groups now as another French option. :)

To bump any image to the “most popular” page for the world to see, pass your mouse over the image and give it a thumbs UP. You may also sign in as a “guest” and leave a comment on any of the images.

I would appreciate help with identifying some of the VIPs in the rally. Some of them don’t need identification because they are so well know already. Enjoy!
