From a "Why he did it" article by Craig Oliver, Chief Parliamentary Correspondent, CTV News:

"It just was all too tempting. Cut the pulpit out from under the jabbering nuisances in the opposition party for the winter. A free ride then into the Olympics, and in the rosy afterglow of that, a throne speech and a budget in which the Government would congratulate itself on an economic recovery. Then world leaders would be converging on Canada for a G-20 meeting. That would give the prime minister a clear path to visit the Governor General and ask her for a dissolution of Parliament and an election. Or perhaps just call her and tell her to do it."

Adolf Harper hopes the Olympics will distract us from the truth of his autocratic rule, lets rock everyone of these rallies. Be as loud as possible, demand change... WE NEED CHANGE.

Read this to give you some perspective to whats going on here.

Because you’re all so clueless I’ll tell you how it’s done:

Instead of whining, rallying and putting up posters (yeesh!)

You should be FLOODING the opposition MP’s with calls to defeat the gov’t at the earliest opportunity.

THAT’S the DEMOCRATIC way to defeat a government.

And if the self-serving bunch in the opposition wants to wait until June so their gold-plated pensions kick in, then go shout at THEM.
They’re the ones who are the threat to democracy.

Glad I could help.

As you can see the comment is putting down/dissuading the efforts of non-partisan rallies. The admin then inserted a comment after the fact (only accessible to admins) and said that the comment was from Citizen & Immigration Canada. Interesting.
I would recommend contacting the site admins for more info but it seems like the Conservatives are dabbling in China-style internet info-wars by posting fake comments under the guise of a anonymous person for their own interest.

Thought you might like to know.

Will these rallies transform the Canadian political landscape the way the coalition rallies of last year? Yeesh, I had more people at my last naked poetry reading.

Hey, I'm glad kids are getting involved in politics - cripes, we know none of them vote.

The CBC and Toronto Star should be impressed with themselves for whipping this non-story into a media frenzy (...and..ashamed of themselves...).

@ Colin Carmichael.

See my first point from my first comment. No comment on my content, but a numbers dispute.

My point is, look at a few other countries on this planet:

Haitians have lost entire families, and their cities are obliterated.

Iran is undergoing simmering political and social unrest due to stolen elections and a murderous regime.

Afghanistan – what a mess (thanks to the Libs for getting us in there....).

Pakistan has terrorists on the precipice of taking control of nuclear weapons

Widespread instability in Zimbabwe thanks to Mugabe.

Greece and Iceland are completely broke.

Israel-Palestine – well, nuff said.

Canada – a bunch of facebookers, who probably couldn't name their own MP, are livid because rich suits in Ottawa are not going to scream at each other for a few weeks.

Put your energy towards something productive.
